My very important BlogHer post

The blogging community is abuzz with posts about pre-BlogHer anxiety and excitement so I thought I should join in the fun. Here's mine:

I'm not going to BlogHer this year because I don't want everyone to know what a giant goober I am in real life.

The end.

It takes a Goober to know a Goober! ;)

Hey, did I mention how much I'm loving reading your blog? Why in the hell didn't you tell you me you're such a great writer! I may have to ask for your autograph tomorrow when I pick up AMelia or something. :)

NO WONDER why I liked you so much.

I'm a goober too...

Hence, the third year in a row I'm not going to BlogHer...that and money.

Have you ever read "Damaged" by Cathy Glass? I've just begun, but it's a true story written by a foster mom regarding an 8 year old girl with a closetful of secrets. If you ever get time to read, you may really like this one!

mrs schmitty - I just don't want other goobers pointing out my gooberhood to non-goobers. I like to keep that info hidden from the general public.

jen - I can't make beer or birth babies or write songs or sing or play guitar but I can type reasonable well!

laundress - and the fear that a-listers will mock me. Or is that just me who worries about that?

laggin - I'm putting serious thought into putting together a non-blogger swag swap and blog party. Stay tuned!

heathenmommy - That's a good idea. I can't get inot Second Life. I fear that I would never quit if I did.

manager mom _ I should make up a diagram showing you the overlap between Jennifers and goobers. It's a small amount but we do exsist.

alison - I'm not an offical blogher either. They rejected me. And then later they asked me to join but I never got around to faxing in my paperwork. Because I'm a goober.

mandy - I own that book! It's in my "Read this if you ever get more than two seconds that aren't taken up by kids and housework and blogging" pile. I expect to ge to it when I'm 89.
