Widget crazy

I am a widget addict. A widget is a little, um, thing (yes, that's the technical term) that you can put on your blog or website. An example of a widget is my little Amazon Wishlist over there on my sidebar. (Hint, hint, hint.) Another great widget I've recently discovered is this Box.net Widget.

You can use this widget to share pictures, videos, music and more. Here's a simple one I created of some of my forum icons just to give you an example of how it works.

The widget is really easy to make. Just browse and upload the files you want to add and the you get the code to add to your site. It's lots of fun and I could see myself sitting in front of my computer adding every icon I have. One note though, this Box.net widget is not intended for use with copywritten material, original creations only please!
