Like a rhinestone cowgirl

Several days ago Elle ate a rhinestone off of one of her little girly hair bows.

I found it this morning.

I wish I could say that I just threw that diaper away without a second thought but that's not the way it went. I debated long and hard about taking a picture of that bejeweled poop. You know what made me decided not to do it? Not good taste or common sense or a sense of respect for my daughter's privacy. It was that I knew I wouldn't be able to get a good picture of it with my current digital camera.

I've added a new camera to my wishlist down there on the left. I'm sure that very soon all my regular readers (all 2 of you) will be chipping in to get me that new camera so that I can start bringing you more high quality, high class pictures. Yes, I expect that you'll be getting right on that.

Oh my god... I was eating a chocolate donut when I read this post and I had to put it down.... because I was laughing so hard and because it too closely resemled poop! Thank you for that unintended bit of community service! lol

I will post to let you know there are others in your audience longing for a picture of bedazzled poop.

Also, the professional photographs of Elle are great, but obviously missed the best shot of all.

OK, I was not expecting this. LOL. I have no idea what else to say. :)

Jen, make sure Jesse knows about your new camera selection. While you laying down yesterday, he commented that he didn't know what to get you for Mother's Day. So be sure he knows!! Judy

Ha! I lost a necklace of mine once, when Matilda was about 18 months old. It turned up later in her poopy diaper and I still have no idea whether she ate it (chain and all) or if it just slid down through her onsie. It was a favorite necklace, so I salvaged it, bleached the hell out of it, but still can't seem to bring myself to wear it again.
