The great pumpkin

Yesterday for the first time ever I tried pulling all of Elle's hair back into a ponytail. She stood so nice and still as I brushed her hair back and secured it with a rubber band.

That ponytail was really something to behold. It was a small cluster of gently cascading golden red curls. Beautiful. Then she turned around.

And her face looked like a pumpkin.

Sigh. My poor giant headed girl.

My nickname growing up was pumpking. Not sure why, but now I'm starting to wonder if it has something to do with none of my hats fitting me well...hmmm...

sam- Yes, She is a really cute pumpkin. But still a pumpkin. Her head is massive.

cathy - "none of my hats fitting me well." Hee hee. And now you know.

sophie - Well, she's always adorable but she's a little more adorable when she doesn't look like a member of the squash family.

jj - Happy Mother's Day to you and your own beautiful girl!

Jen, That was the same 'do that she had on Saturday, and it was adorable. I must differ with you, she does not look like a pumpkin! She is a cute little sprite!! Thanks again for super Grandma day!
